What is a monocle?

The Monocle is a device consisting of a single lens that is used to primarily to correct reading vision in one eye, leaving the other eye to see normally into the distance. The Monocle usually consists of a circular lens, inside a wire frame around the lens. Our monocles include a gallery, which is an extension to the frame to make it easier to wear. It is attached to a string or chain. The other end of the string is then connected to the wearer's clothing or looped around the wearer's neck to avoid misplacing or losing the monocle.
